Sporting a luxury car seat design, godly materials and astonishing comfort levels that no other ergonomic gaming chair can achieve, the ICON Series is made for you – the icon of the house and the bearer of gaming vanity. It is a gaming chair fit for royalty.
The ICON series is not the most flexible gaming chair out there – given that you would think it has everything you need that surpasses every seat available. Instead, it can only recline down to 135 degrees, but it still has all the fundamentals such as 4D armrests, removable pillows and easy height adjustment.
The noblechairs ICON Series is a very LARGE chair; but not to the point where it becomes unwelcoming to smaller gamers. In fact, it’s an all-height friendly gaming seat despite its dimensions of 11.8 x 11.8 x 70.9 inches. It can also support up to 330 lbs.
This one is a bit controversial, but for a luxury style gaming chair, you would think it uses top-range materials – instead, it is established with PU leather and cold foam. While there is nothing wrong about these, many may expect more from noblechairs.

Yet, despite the “cheap” materials, noblechairs manages to pull one off when it comes to comfort. The ICON feels like it came from a monarch’s personal designer thanks to comfort levels that we – nor the happy customers – can describe other than “superior ergonomics”.
Noblechairs like to spoil their customers; so much so that they made the assembly easy for anyone who buys their product. Much like Vertagear‘s slide-in mechanic, noblechairs ICON Series is as simple as sliding everything in place like a PC starter kit.
The noblechairs EPIC series is considered as the cheapest among the three. Yet, it is still more expensive than 80% of other gaming chair brands because of its top tier materials and amazing comfort. If the ICON is more like a throne, the EPIC is more like riding a Mercedes-Benz sports car.
Much like the ICON, the backrest can only recline from 90 to 135 degrees. That’s not completely bad as long as you don’t want a gaming chair that you can consider as a small bed. Everything else is pretty much the same with its 4D armrests, optional pillows and seamless class-4 height adjustment.
The noblechairs EPIC Series has dimensions of 22.1 x 20.5 x 55.5 inches – quite large enough for tall players and just decent for smaller gamers. It also supports up to 330 lbs in weight.
You can choose from a variety of PU, nappa or real leather. Amazingly, each feels very unique from each other. While PU feels like another usual gaming chair, the nappa and real leather upholsteries feel cool to the touch – which works together with the cold foam within it and the alloy that supports the frame.
We do not need to argue about anything this noblechairs series has. The EPIC has one epic comfort level – especially for a racing-style gaming chair. It does feel like a sports car disguised as a computer chair.
All you need to do is slide in all the required parts onto the frame. Very simple to do, no matter how much experience you have with gaming seat assembly.
Finally, we have the noblechairs HERO Series. So, what makes this any different? Well, while the ICON is a hybrid solo recliner-throne and the EPIC is a racing-style chair, the HERO is an office-style gaming chair – a design that even a CEO would even consider buying. Intimidating in style and flaunting all the signature noblechairs features, the HERO Series is a force to be reckoned with.
In fact, while the noblechairs HERO Series represents itself as an office chair, it still retains all the fundamentals of a racing seat such as alloy casters and 4D armrests. Its reclining action only does slightly less with 125 degrees but that is no big deal.
22 x 21 x 53 inches are the dimensions of the noblechairs HERO. Remember, it replicates the office design but it still shouldn’t be too small for tall gamers. The backrest can be easily slid in order to adjust to your height – that alone is amazing. Also, it supports up to 330 lbs.
You may choose from faux PU leather or real leather – both are good in their own ways. The upholstery is supported with cold foam and aluminum alloy. The seat height is fixed with a class-4 piston.
We’d be lying if we said the HERO has so many flaws. Instead, it’s super comfortable – especially if you get to decide which kind of backside pattern you want (meshed, checkered, stripes, flat, etc).
The HERO Series is very easy to set up, which will only take you about 10 minutes or less. The sliding mechanics make assembling feel like a huge breeze.

This EPIC chair is made of real leather – it is cool to the touch and has a certain good “roughness” that makes it much better than faux leather. As long as you have the money, it’s worth it.
While PU leather is good, it always has a side effect of absorbing a lot of heat in your body. Even if the sponge is cold foam heat will still build up. But with real leather, it will always feel cool. And, to be honest, it is way more comfortable than faux leather.
Just slide the large bodies onto the metal frame and everything will be set up in no time. It takes 10 minutes or less to assemble the EPIC chair.
The ICON Series alone is a great piece of chair. Now if you choose Nappa Leather over PU, then I have some good news for you. The ICON Series is meant be used with the nappa leather. If PU Leather ICON is a good, then Nappa Leather ICON is godlike.

The ICON is treated like royalty in a gaming chair. And the best way to make it authentically royal is to use better leather than PU. I’m talking about Nappa. While real leather is good too, Nappa leather on the ICON just suits very well. What makes the Nappa different from authentic leather? It is bouncier and softer.
Once you purchase an ICON Series with the Nappa leather, you would be amazed at how much the upholstery compliments everything about the chair. The grooves, the padding, the firmness, it all comes together naturally. For ICON, it’s Nappa or nothing.
As usual, the assembly is easy with its slide-in mechanics. The set-up will only take you mere minutes. Before you know it, you’ve already finished the whole chair.
There is honestly nothing more we could say about the noblechairs – every chair in this category is equally comfortable, ergonomic and fitting. You could argue that there are better chairs but the noblechairs are luxurious in their own ways – and I don’t mean that in just design-wise. If vanity is what you are after, these chairs will do. If you want the best in overall performance and appearance, pick the ICON. If you need the most “budget”-friendly chair, go with the EPIC. And if you want an office-type chair, look forward to the HERO series. If you prefer real leather, go with the EPIC Series real leather edition for the best price. And if you want a Nappa leather chair, go with the ICON.
