Best Vertagear Gaming Chair

The VERTAGEAR RACING SERIES S-LINE SL4000 is the premiere gaming chair of the brand. Awarded multiple times by mainstream media such as IGN, Gamespot and PC Gamer as the best gaming chair, the SL4000 white edition is everything you could ever want in a good gaming chair: wonderful design, superb functionality and highly ergonomic.

Pros:
Cons:

Adjustability

The SL4000 can be adjusted in multiple ways; you can recline down to a full 180 degrees, twist the armrest in 4 different ways, adjust the height like you are floating and re-align your headrest. Not much of a special surprise here but having these are more than enough to make a gaming chair worth it.

Size and Height

The Vertagear SL4000 has dimensions of 24 x 24 x 52 inches and can support up to 200 lbs. It’s not an ideal chair for gamers that have a height of higher than 5’11”. But if you’re below 6 ft, then this chair should fit perfectly for you from top to bottom.

Materials

Vertagear uses a special PUC leather (a combination of PU and PVC) that gives each chair that lavish and extravagant finish. The frames and bases are made with aluminum alloy and the whole cushion is thanks to high resiliency foam.

Comfort

It is what you expect in a premium chair: the SL4000 brings home the feel of a pro player. The whole chair was made in order for you to play your desired games from day to night without feeling any aches.

Assembly

Vertagear is proud to present their exclusive slide-in assembly action – giving you the opportunity to set-up the chair within a matter of minutes. That means no screws and no need to strictly rely on the manual.

Best Value Vertagear Gaming Chair

The SL4000 Black edition is basically the same as the white edition. It’s just that the white palette costs more especially if done with the PUC leather. So, if you feel like the SL4000 White edition is too expensive, try out the Black version – it’s significantly cheaper with the same features. It may not be as cheap as the AKRacing chairs but this is the cheapest you will ever find in Vertagear.

Pros:
Cons:

Adjustability

Just like the White version, you have a full 180-degree reclining backside, optional head and lumbar pillows, 4D armrests and a height adjustment with a clas-4 gas lift.

Size and Height

24 x 24 x 52 inches are the dimensions of the black SL4000. Yes, this chair is also not very ideal for tall gamers heights 6’0″ and above. It’s a chair made for average-sized players and slim physiques since it can only support up to 200 lbs.

Materials

PUC leather is the SL4000’s upholstery. High-resilient foam is what they use as cushion and the alloy frames and base keep the chair from feeling too heavy.

Comfort

There is no difference whether you want to sit on the black or white edition – both carry the same levels of cushion and the same issues with the padding on the back. Although, we do admit – much like the complaints from consumers – that the black version’s seat rest heats up easier than the white edition.

Assembly

Assembling is easy thanks to the slide-in mechanics from Vertagear. We wish it’s the same with any other gaming chair brands.

Best LED Vertagear Gaming Chair

Before the S-line became the main face of Vertagear, the P-Line – or PL for short – always remains as the general-purpose gaming chair. Sporting different neon-like color options and a highly-ergonomic design, the Vertagear PL4500 has always been the display chair in the pro gaming scene for a very long time. Experience the same high-level comfort of your esports heroes.

Pros:
Cons:

Adjustability

The PL4500 uses the default Vertagear features: 180-degree reclining backrest, 4D armrests, class-4 height adjustment and removable head and lumbar pillows.

Size and Height

The PL4500 is more ideal for tall gamers. Its overall dimensions are 17.7 x 21.1 x 54.1 inches but it’s just right for players up to 6’8″. It can also support up to 350 lbs.

Materials

Unlike the SL series, the Vertagear PL4500 uses high quality coffee fiber – super absorbent foam on the seat and backrest to prevent you from sweating and gives off a cool surface. The upholstery – of course – is made with PUC leather. But the main star here is the RGB LED that lights up on the sides of the backrest. Why? For style points, of course.

Comfort

You may think the PL4500 is a gimmick but it’s more than just looking like a modded car: the Vertagear PL4500 is one of the most ergonomic chairs from the brand thanks to minimal padding, cool-to-the-touch back and seat and lots of room to move in.

Assembly

PL4500 uses the same slide-in technology as all Vertagear chairs.

Best XL Vertagear Gaming Chair

The Vertagear PL6000 is a behemoth gaming chair. It is specifically created for the big players who like to win big. Sporting a fresh coat of orange and black, and a beneficial design that is meant for top ergonomics, the PL6000 is a giant beauty full of great features.

Pros:
Cons:

Adjustability

The PL6000 uses the same Vertagear standard: fully-reclinable backrest, 4D armrests, removable pillows and class-4 height adjustment.

Size and Height

The product page says that the dimensions of the PL6000 are 25 x 25 x 55 inches – just imagine how large that is. But can smaller gamers be able to use this? Sure, but why settle for this when you buy a chair for less like the SL series?

Materials

The upholstery is PUC leather, the foam is made with high-quality coffee fiber and frames and bases are supported by aluminum alloy. Of course, that means a better and stronger build for the whole chair.

Comfort

Comfort may honestly vary depending on how soft you want your chair to be. Some do not like the padded backrest and flat seat rest, but others appreciate it. Others may say that the armrests are still too stiff but the opposers will call these as very helpful. Make sure you do extensive research or just know if you’re into these types of chair features.

Assembly

Easy slide-in that only takes you 10 minutes or less. Enough said.

Best Office Style Vertagear Gaming Chair

Vertagear was generous enough to present an office-style chair catered for the gamers who are sick and tired of the racing-style seats. Meet the Triigger 275 – an amazing office-gaming chair that you will want to definitely get your hands on once you find an available seller.

Pros:
Cons:

Adjustability

Adjustability for a Vertagear office chair is much different: You cannot recline the chair but you can adjust the armrests sideways. It may not be the most flexible chair but people buy it because it’s more comfortable than a racing chair – and that is what the Triigger 275 aims to prove.

Size and Height

Dimensions for the Triiger 275 are 23 x 21 x 47 inches which makes this a generally good chair for anybody. It may not be a high backrest for tall gamers but it was meant for the gamers of all heights.

Materials

Going distant from other Vertagear chairs, the Triigger 275 has a DuPont TPEE mesh backrest, silicon and manganese bases, aluminum alloy frame and authentic calfskin leather. Yes, it is more than just an office-style chair. In fact, it is one of the strongest office-style seats ever made.

Comfort

The Vertagear Triigger 275 boasts the term “Comfort is king”. Its meshed back is flexible but not too stretchy and the seat is soft but not too spongy. Sitting on the chair even after hours will not cause any body aches or lower body cramps. Just mind the absence of the lumbar and head pillows though.

Assembly

Unfortunately, while the Triigger 275 is quite comfy, the assembly will take a while. It isn’t hard – in fact it’s simple for an office chair – but it lacks that one fun feature every Vertagear seat has: the slide-in mechanic.

What We Would Buy

To conclude this article, Vertagear is a generally great gaming chair brand. If you have the money to buy a high-profile seat, you should definitely take Vertagear into consideration. If you fancy a good overall gaming chair in both looks and effectiveness, get yourself an SL4000 white edition but if you do not have that much money, the contrasting SL4000 black edition is very valuable. If you fancy cosmetics and showing off, the PL4500 suits you well. Are you a big player? Try giving the PL6000 a shot. Do you prefer an office-style gaming chair? The Triigger 275 is right up your alley.

Overall, the best Vertagear gaming chair will depend on your preference.
